Jesus said there would be a time when those who believed in Him would do the miracles He did & even greater ones because he was going to the Father & would send us the Holy Spirit who would indwell us. I believe that time has arrived.

The Holy Spirit has been taking me on a personal spiritual journey through the scriptures & opening my eyes to the elements necessary to create a portal to God’s power. He started by sharing with me that the power of God should be as commonplace in the believers’ life as bread is in our daily diet.

In order to embrace the truth of this series I ask you to digest each teaching in order for maximum impact. It is essential that you build truth upon truth so that the Holy Spirit can impart to you the revelation because He desires you to be the vessel through which He can move to manifest His power to this generation with signs & wonders that will shake the foundations of religion & a skeptical world bringing glory & honor to Jesus.

Nexus is the youth and young adult ministry of The Promise Church. The leadership of Nexus believe in young people. We believe that young people were born for such a time as this in order to shape history. We believe each young person has an assignment to make a positive and powerful impact on the world today. Through faith in Jesus Christ Nexus young people will discover their God given assignment and can acheive it. If you believe it is time recreate the culture and let your voice be heard, if you desire to go after God and are willing to stand up to make a difference, to rescue your genearation and save a life then Nexus is for you.

The goal for the worship ministry at the Promise is to worship our Lord in Spirit and in Truth creating an atmosphere of true worship where the Lord Jesus is glorified and therefore we can behold His glory:

“We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18) What does it mean to behold the Lord’s glory? The apostle Paul is speaking here of devoted, focused worship. It’s time that’s given to God simply to behold him.

And the apostle quickly adds, “Therefore seeing we have this ministry” (2 Corinthians 4:1). Paul makes it clear that beholding the face of Christ is a ministry we

You may not feel yourself changing as you spend time beholding His glory, yet you can know a metamorphosis is taking place. Something is surely happening, because no one can continually behold the glory of Christ without being transformed. Note the last phrase in Paul’s statement: “We all…are changed unto the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18)

By being in his presence, we give the Spirit liberty to govern our lives, to do with us as he would. It’s an act of submission that says, “Lord, my will is yours. Whatever it takes, transform me into the image of Jesus.”
